About Margaritas & Mutts
Margaritas & Mutts is the Humane Society of Fremont County's signature annual fundraiser — an afternoon celebrating compassion, community, and the animals who inspire us every single day. Formerly known as Rescue Runway, the event was reimagined with a fresh new format — same beloved cause, same incredible animals.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Rocky Mountains and the scenic Arkansas River, this event brings together supporters, animal lovers, and community members for a relaxed afternoon of great company, great food, and even better margaritas. All funds raised go directly to our emergency medical fund — ensuring every sick or injured animal that comes through our doors receives the care they deserve.
Every dollar raised helps us live out our mission: Where Every Life Matters. Together, we'll raise funds, raise spirits, and raise a toast to the animals who make our world brighter.

I think the Humane Society of Fremont County has a group of very dedicated individuals who love their job. They give you advice and are knowledgeable about their jobs. I had a chip put on my dog there and years later they were able to pull up my dog's information as to what I needed. They informed me about important details as to what needed done for my circumstances. Very well recommended.
Outstanding experience here for sure! I originally came in looking for a specific dog from the website, upon meeting that dog, it was clear that we were not a good fit together, but Bre (who was the one helping me) took the time to get to know our situation, and said "hang on, there's someone you should meet" then she brought my boy, Drax, and he instantly jumped up in my arms and gave me a hug. Now, 2 years later, our Drax is still a perfect fit for my son and I, he loves to snuggle, wrestle, and go for rides in the car. Can't thank the Humane Society of Fremont County, and Bre enough.
Found a pup near the Abbey and when I took her to the Humane Society of Fremont County to check for a chip they instantly remembered someone who called in about a dog with the same description. The woman immediately contacted the family so the dog could be returned. The staff were very professional and friendly during the whole process.
